bought these not so long ago. really comfy headset (they’re very light). when you raise your mic up it’s being automatically muted. plus the volume controller is located on the right earphone instead of being on the cord, which i also find very convenient. but to my taste they aren’t loud enough plus the sound quality isn’t very good. it’s enough for games but not good enough to listen to music.
so if you’re not very picky with the sound quality pc320 might be a good choice.
fix it – if it’s only the cable it should be pretty easy.

While I have no personal experience of those headphones, I can confirm the mic is good :)
I would also recommend the general idea of getting headphones and a separate mic.

I would like to second that.
An alternative is this microphone, cheap and good quality:

I got my ROCCAT Kave like year ago and I’m totally comfortable with them. They’re a bit heavy but after like week of wearing them you get used to it and the sound is brilliant. Mic isn’t bad also…
any sennheiser headset. rolled over the cables with my desk chair a thousand times, still working. no bullshit leds etc. decent mic.
