TI3 essentially expanding into Valve-con, maybe a competition we actually have a chance of getting TF2 into, maybe just as 12v12 on goldrush
I don’t get it why anyone would want to play competitive 12v12 :/

What dont you get about it?
Valve just showing again and again that they don’t WANT tf2 to be a competitive game at this point.
Surely they saw everything related to i46, nothing escapes their radar when it comes to their own games, so they have no reason not to support us.
What surprises me is that CS:GO is getting a 1.3mill prize pool, that’s crazy money for counter strike, right? I don’t know much about their scene but they’ve not had that big a prize pool before have they?

guess 3 times were the money come from…

Valve is a billion dollar company, 1,6 million is peanuts for them, it’s just marketing budget.

CPL
1.6 million dollars for Dota 2, 1.3 million dollars for CS:GO, £1000 out of Robin’s back pocket for i46 funds…
Enef is right, Valve don’t care a jot about TF2 being taken as a serious ‘e-sport’. Shame, but there you go.
I’m going to win that, and then hold a TF2 tournament with 1.6 million ruppees prize fund
