For those who haven’t been paying attention, Black Mesa is a fan made HL1, building the game from ground up with the source engine.

Hope the engine physics are a bit alike. I’m eager to play this, just finished HL1 a few months ago for the 5th time orso. But would be nice if bhopping would still be possible. Also I wonder if Spyder-Waffle comes with a new speedrun on this hehe.
ive been putting off replaying HL1 for years because of this – was placing bets wether this or HL3 would be released first ;D Can’t wait!

To be fair to Bio, he posted well before it was confirmed as being greenlit
Anyone knows if it will be downloadable on steam right from release or will it take a while to get up on the system?

No clue, i wish it was quick but i imagine they need to work on stuff like integration achievements etc before it happens… i think it may take a bit
They just posted the “gone gold” message a few hours ago, so I doubt it’ll be integrated from the get-go, more like a few weeks afterwards when they’re done figuring out achievements and stuff and implementing them.
