Starting a job beginning of July and moving into a house in Brackley (nearish to Silverstone), and was wondering on the off chance of anyone on etf2l living in/around that area, what ISP they are with and whether it is reliable or not.

I think I can get BT infinity in that area. Has anyone had any experience with it? And any thoughts on it? Failing that, every other ISP looks to quote the standard 4-8 Mb/s, which is a downer.

avoid anything to do with virgin media/bt/sky as there all shit, exp bt as there lines aren’t foiled, so basically there lines just get loads of jitter from other networking wires etc, plusnet are supposed to be ok. sky i think also use bt lines…

I live in lincoln half the year and suffolk the other half and use bt infinity at both locations and I’ve never had any problems with either.

Seems location is key in most cases tho :/

I’ve been with IDNet for a while. Really expensive but it has been an absolute joy.

Can’t get anything other than standard 20CN 8Mbit out this way anyway. It was either something really expensive or put up with BT or TalkTalk.
