Hey guys, decided to go down the headphones + desk mic route I think (still considering the PC-360’s).

Looking at the Sennheiser HD 555s, but I literally know nothing about desk mics. Any that someone would actually recommend looking at?

Having dealt with the output side of things, it’s time to mention the reverse interface – microphones. The good news is that your brain is particularly good at deciphering vocal communication irrespective of its quality, so spending money on a “good” microphone shouldn’t be as high a priority for you unless you are planning to take up casting. With that in mind, a simple list of three options is presented below for you to investigate:

I use this for TF2/mumble shit, but mainly for business work recording voice overs for videos and training materials.

Might be a bit overkill but it’s lovely for the price :) (Around £55-65 depending on shop)

Nope. Smoke signals, I’m a notorious smoke signal rager, on occasion I colour the smoke green yes but never with marks. Don’t be so silly spike.
