fuck this shit
Does anyone else get the issue where you’re inside a building with lots of props and stuff in it, and you get this cacophony of CRASH BANG BANG CRASH BANG like things are being scattered everywhere, then you turn around and it stops and nothing has actually moved?
edit: Searched again and found a solution. Apparently I have to limit my fps via v-sync or some other means in order to stop it. Cool

Yes, except stuff does actually move. It makes me laugh my head off every time :D

yes as stated the physics engine freaks out big time if you uncap your framerate and have consistently high performance. i drew the line and recapped mine after walking into jorrvaskr and everyone’s dinner flew off the table, swords went everywhere and farkas had a breadstick RIPPED from his fingers right as he was about to take a bite. then after that we were in a dungeon and it happened again except this time some books and a basket exploded off a shelf opposite and blasted into him and almost killed him. the game became a lottery of opening doors and taking cover and then trying to see if the NPC i wanted to talk to had been crushed under a hail of small objects and fruit*. after which i just said fuck it and used an xbox controller with vsync on so i didn’t have to deal with the screwy mouse
it was also great to walk into my house in whiterun and have everything bomb around and kill lydia every time
*one time in the game i walked into a hanging bucket in the basement of a house and it bounced off my character’s face and slammed me across the room. i was dead before i hit the wall
edit and i just remembered playing bouncy castle as you try to get over random skeleton bits in dungeons is always fun too. especially when one decides to throw a curveball and ricochet upwards and embed itself in your pelvis, removing half your health
gamebryo. gamebryo never changes

It’s not on Gamebryo I think, it’s some massively updated version of it or something
Though I barely had ANY problems/glitches with FO3 or NV like the ones I’ve had with Skyrim. I used to get drops to 5fps and below whenever I looked in a particular direction within towns (particularly Riften and Solitude). I turned shadows from Ultra to High and BAM! no drops at all. Crazy.
I usually keep my first playthrough of a game vanilla, but I got this the other day. Now my distant trees don’t look like cardboard cutouts, yay
they call it the creation engine but it’s all essentially just gamebryo with shadows and support for directional walking animations
