Need a new headset. It needs a good quality mic & great for gaming and music. got around £60 to spend. any suggestions? thanks
I have some razor barracuda’s, I personnly like them but the mic is not so great…
I would say Seinheisers hands down! I havent used them for gaming but I DJ and you cant beat a good set of them for mixing.. can’t help you on which gaming set to buy tho ;)
Steel Series Siberia Headset, bought them at i35 and i fucking love it
Great sound quality and mic and for round 60ish i think, forgot how much it cost me
I heard steelseries 5Hv2 are pretty good :D
razer will have a new 7.1 soon so w8 to see, I am a fan of surround sound for gaming since it is much more accurate, I have speedlink medusa progamer 5.1.
edit: for music and games u cant have both…. most do fine in both but if u rlly enjoy good music most of them will disapoint.

I have the senheiser pc161, absolutely great headset. don’t feel it sitting on your head. perfect sound quality, great mic. leather head cushion thing for extra sexy touch. and it doesn’t break!
:x I got the fatal1ty headset for £34, and it’s never let me down, with great mic + sound quality. You can get a usb version of you dig around a bit too, but I dont know how it stands up to the sennheiser and steelseries headsets.
Just sold my 5hv2, gonna buy ss siberia.
Hmm, i would recommend if you can go that 30 quid extra to get the pc 350s best headset i’ve ever used. Also the logitech digital precision are around 20 quid very good quality sound and mic, i however wouldn’t recommend razer because after having both the baracuda and the piranha i can say the mic is pap.
Siberia v2 or 5H v2?
I’ve got a razer charcarias atm, but the fact its can’t reduce background noise is really annoys me. I don’t want to hear my brother playing his fuckin guitar. :| Anyway, the right side just killed itself like 3 hours ago, so I have to buy a new headset. I heard Steelseries Siberia V2 and 5H v2 are really cool. Which is better, and why? I hope someone can help me with this, because i don’t want to waste my money on a headset like charcarias again (no offence, its a good product, but not for my taste)
Oh, I almost forget. It doesn’t have to be Steelseries. Post anything you want. :]
