Hi.
I’m going to buy these one mouse, but i don’t know if it will be comfortable for Claw Grip user. I don’t have possibility to test it in shops because they don’t sell it at my town ~~. I want to order it via web.
So, Logitech MX518 is good for Claw Grip user?
Thanks for answers.
I think mx518 is considered a palm grip type of mouse. Trying to hold mine with a claw grip feels a bit awkward but i think that is just because I’ve never used claw grip.
I have the g5 (which is the same shape) and it’s fine to claw…. should be fine unless you grip really far back, in which case you might struggle a bit.
Used 518s for about 4 years now, and I claw grip – been perfectly fine but I do have pretty small hands.
However, the 1cm tip end of my right little finger has been totally destroyed though. Kinda looks like someone has got a file and started from the top of my finger and worked down at an angle. There’s no nerves there anymore and if I hold it up to the light It’s pretty see-through.. just dead skin. Not sure if this is down to the 518, or excessive amounts of gaming.. probably the latter :)

noob
I used A4Tech x748k http://my-shop.biz/images/A4-X-748K.jpg (it looks similar to Deathadder) for 2 years with claw grip and it was comfortable.
MX518 has nearly same profile like Deathadder/x748k ?
Just remember when you buy the MX518, CHANGE THE MOUSE-SKATES/FEET. The regular ones suck!

haha
the knobbly bone in my right wrist is twice the size of the bone in my left wrist, probably caused by years of friction on the mousepad

mx518 is too small for me.
Yeah, I use the MX518 and claw grip. Been mine for me as long as my seat is high enough. I have talk in mumble bound to M4 and so prefer to use my thumb tip to press it.

in the circlejerk we commonly refer to this as the ‘gaming edge’
