thanks everyone! I started using FL studio yesterday evening…just a little questione again:
how can i record a beat using my keyboard? i mean im here using my keyboard as a drum machine or as a synthetizer but i cant keep playing the beat so how can i record it?
Depends, is it midi? If so, you’ll either need a MIDI station on your pc/ mac or a piece that converts midi to USB

I think he’s talking about a computer keyboard i think..
If it’s a computer keyboard it’s easy. All DAW’s bind your keys to notes, so you can make melodies by playing on the keyboard (not very handy tho), and drums can be made by filling in the patterns, however, i prefer connect an electronic drumkit to my pc (MIDI to USB ftw!) and playing the patterns live.
No, no, he means, he can already play it live! But he wants to record what he did.
Just select an empty pattern in FL, press record, (and enable the “metronome” button which is to the side of the play/pause controls) and drum away!
