yo!
im in need of buying new headset. i have used some no-name one and want to change it. since i completly dont have any knowledge about headsets, i want some help from here.
i generally use headset to play tf2, quake live and other games, listen to music and sometimes watch a movie (not on youtube ofc :P)
the point is that i want a decent, not heavy or unconfortable and with good quality of sound headset.
so far, i saw and liked fatal1ty mkII and i realise that sennheiser has the best headphones/headsets over there, but are quite expensive.
you can also discuss about it here ;) i would like to read opinions about some models and then be able to choose one.
btw, i can spend up to 30€/40$/120zl
cheers,
roQ

I have Plantronics Gamecom 367
$20 on amazon.com. Don’t know how much it’ll be for you.
Wouldn’t advice speedlink medusa. If you want quality sound, headphones>headset but you’re since you want both and are looking for a quite low budget set, I’d definitely recommend the plantronics.

Thats a bit too low budget me to even join this conversation. I am kinda enthusiast when it comes to headphones. I has table mic from Logitech, Sennheiser HD650 + HeadBox SE2 amplifier.
If I would be you, and would want the best possible headset what lasts for ever… then you should look up prices of these in your country:

if you want a gaming headset you should prioritize in this order:
– Comfort
– Quality
– Sound quality
And try to avoid buying anything you have not tested on your head your self. Saves you from lot of grief.

I have that one. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Dropped it on the floor a while ago, which made the right speaker go a bit noisy, but then a few days later I dropped it again and it was fixed :D
