How much is ETF2L worth..?

The domain name will belong to the person who registered it (ST8), but the content of the website and all the files will not.
He could sell the domain name for whatever he likes, but as Nagash said – he wouldn’t own the content.
Incidentally, there would be no issue with the league still being called ETF2L and hosted on a different domain. The name is neither trademarked or copyrighted and as such it can be used by anyone.

yeah was forgetting about copyrighting it and such, and suppose you can’t technically copyright an acronym

why wait? he’s probably already doing it
copyright is assumed in uk law, you don’t need to register it etc (trademarking is different)

The things that could be covered by copyright are the etf2l logos, and the layout, all of which are credited to the copyright holders at the bottom of everypage
