When I try to open up steam it comes up with updating, then it says, “service is currently unavailible, please try again later”. And then steam closes without saying anything else, it does this everytime :s
Any Help?
Things I’ve tried:
1. Deleting clientregistry.blob from steam folder
2. Restarting.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
Reinstall steam. If you’re afraid you have to re-download all games, just cut the “steamapps” folder and paste it somewhere else in your PC. When you finished installing steam, just paste the “steamapps” folder over the new one created by steam insaller.
Does that actually work? I asked someone and they said it didn’t

The cut-paste thingy? Yes, it does. I did that lots of times.
