Yes! I am back in august motherfuckers(especially demsi) and I need a new laptop or a decent desktop-pc which doesnt cost so much, cause I am a little on cash atm. And yes I have always been playin on a laptop.

I do prefer laptop compared to desktop, since I am used to the feeling, but if u can offer me a good deal on a desktop, then I wont look the other way either.

I dont need a mind-blowing pc, but it has to be full hd 1080p, the screen is important, like for real.

Requirements:

-Has to run tf2 in full hd(I can run the game in low-medium or even dx8, but full hd is a must)

-multitask like a motherfucker

– study-pc

-not to heavy

– Preferably dell(Yes, dell equals awesomness)

– Not hp or acer(no comment)

– can be custom-made desktop

Former pc(laptop dell studio xps) had:

core 2 duo p8600 2.4 ghz 3 mb cache
ati 4670
4 gb ram
full hd rgbled 1080p screen 16 inch
windows 7

there is some info about it here

Besides that there aint much to say. Fuck it! I even allow chris to write stupid shit here

From my experience you tend to have less problems with systems that you build yourself. Readily built ones are made with minimal tolerance to maximize costs, rewarding compromizing quality and power supply. Also, you won’t have to deal with the tech support from hell, you’re free to fix your problems yourself without voiding warrenty. On top of that you can reuse your chassi, and maybe other stuff as well, when you build your next computer. Put in a few extra quid to get components from manufacturers with good reputation. The hard part is choosing good components that match up nicely, putting everything togeather is easy. A stationary computer is also cheaper if you are willing to sacrifice the portability.

Tom’s hardware is a good source of information. Choose a processor and a graphics card and build your system around that, with the help of the links below. i5-750 and radeon 5850 still seem to be a viable combination for a normal system.

Sample configuration from the computer I built 1 month ago. Cost me about 8000 SEK(800 euro). It runs tf2 at a stabil 200 fps, but with fps config and 640×480. 10 SEK is roughly 1 euro.

komplett.se / komplett.no have really good costumer support and prices (at least by swedish standards)

Nothing but good experiences with komplett (.be that would be for me)

links build looks good, just change the psu to something more reliable like Corsair or something.

Don’t know about Corsair PSUs but Enermax is highly condered in their field. I had to order it from Germany to get it, even speak to the customer support in their lovely language since they knew no other. Also, check out seasonic. Back when I built my old computer, the top scoring PSUs in an in-depth test of 30 or something was some PSU from Taiwan that noone had heard about, nor were able to get, followed by an Enermax. What is widely available isn’t necessarily the best.

hp pavilion series of laptops

I really cba to build a pc, as I got a static-shock last year, which fucking burned something in my body, thats why I am so fucked upp :)

And Hp is just, not reliable, they have a tendency to do whatever they want to. Unstable computer brand.

I thought about a ASUS laptop, dont know which, I really dont care if its full hd after some thinking, as long as I can play the game fluently whit shitty graphics on a cheap stable laptop, then I wont mind.

Thnx for the info link ;)

Get an Asus. They’re one of the better laptop companies and they don’t charge a lot of money for their configurations which are all really decent IMO. I’m not really sure about customers service in eu, but the gaming laptops i’ve uses with them never had any kind of problems.

Don’t bother getting a laptop if cost is an issue, it’s impossible to get a decent graphics card in one that is relatively cheap and doesn’t look like a cardboard box or some dragon/alien crap. I recently got an HP envy, which is awesome but cost £1000 (and the graphics card in that still isn’t great).

Building it yourself with save a lot of money, if you really don’t want to do it yourself, get a friend to do it. It also means you can get much higher quality parts so it saves you money down the line as well.

I have the Core i5-750 as well, which is brilliant for performance/cost ratio. If you do end up buying components, just make sure you don’t save money on the psu/motherboard. Antec Earthwatt PSUs are good in my experience.
