if you have actually played all the HL2 games so far and remotely value a storyline, you should be hoping to hell its EP3.

Good to see the rumours covered all the bases.

i ended up looking like crazy to see what stories i would here. though most of them are completely off by my belief for the game to be portal or be mixed with portal 2, i believe that the 3rd half life, whether it be ep3 or hl3, it has nothin to do with portal 2. the only thing it has is the slight alteration of graphics within game. aside from that, i do believe as well, and this is not hope, but this is actually belief based off what valve will do to make money, i believe that it is going to be Half -Life 3 because it will be the final in the Half-Life series. I might be wrong, but judging how Valve runs the company, it seems as if the Half-Life series is over after this one, and to continue the storyline, they will surely not make an E3 and a HL3. But assuming how the other one ended, like original HL, you have to take into consideration how they will start the next part of the series. Which most likely will be the end and probably released in summer 2011.

P.S.- I also am hoping for a HL3 because that will make the series more interesting than continue it with an E3. Good luck everyone, and press release soon i think about the release.
