Surely you’re joking? Had there been any effort involved in making this I wouldn’t have commented like I have. I have no problems with public fragvids if they are enjoyable to watch.
This is a 40 second clip with mostly 1 kill clips. The kills aren’t impressive. The opponents are laggy. There has been no effort to remove the HUD, nor record properly, making the video choppy. There is no editing of any kind. The video ends with “thanks to all i pwnd// my aim :P”.
Yes, I’m an elitist and wouldn’t have commented negatively had this video been made by a div1 player.

What happened to the saying ‘if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all.’
What I would say to your friend is to try sniper in more competitive maps.
Some of the shots were better than others, but as some have said most were single kills and could be considered ‘easy’.
Also sniper isnt exactly a ‘true’ competitive class, as im sure you know. So perhaps he should show what he can do as another class.

People are not being dicks,they’re just being honest:
– the guy’s playing sniper on a laggy server
– the map encourages sniping (it’s very easy there, trust me)
– the victims of the sniper run in a predictable fashion
– there is 0 editing (editing can make a short movie a bit enjoyable)
– you may argue, but the music choice is bad for a small fragclip
If you have something to show, then atleast make it somewhat presentable.
Also, the feedback of the audience allows people to improve, and there always is a room for that in any subject.
PS: I liked the airshot on the soldier though :)
