I recorded my demos with PLDX recording tool, and made them into avi files, like xvid mpeg 4 with 60 fps, quality is good and the videos feels smooth, but the problem is that Sony vegas doesnt preview the videos, adobe premiere previews the video’s really choppy, powerdirector caps it back to 30 fps, I mean wtf, which editing program should I use?

First of all, in my experience you get a better preview in vegas with uncompressed files, but they are still laggy. Second, try to select an area of the video file in vegas and press shift+b to do a ram preview (no lag)

can you help me man? Added you so you can walk me trough it, been wondering if I should use Lagarith and recording from scratch and record into TGA files and put it together in vdub, but I need some walktrough to get going. Thoose tutorials explain it like it was self-explanatory, like we already knew what to do, its stupid
