Jagged movement in slowmo POV-demos

I’ve successfully done slowmo captures from STV-demoes with host_framerate and host_timescale. However, whenever I go slow motion in any of my (or others’) POV-demoes, the movement gets jagged. Models bounce, and the whole sporadically screen jumps.
I’ve tried tinkering with interp, timescale, framerate. -But nothing seems to bite.
The problem is visible both when playing the demo, when recording, and playing back the recorded footage.
Anyone had similar problems, with fixes?
Some suggest recording in high fps, then playing it back in normal (30) fps. That doesnt fix it. In fact, the movements look decent when recording in standard fps. The problem is that its not possible to make slow motion as it stands.
(Yes, I’ve tried recording ultra slowmo, and reducing it to less slowmo)
tesco: No, I dont use the gui, as it doesnt make a difference during actual recording. But, for the record, the jaggedy movements are still present if I playback with less % in the gui.
Skyride: Great suggestion. Unfortunately it didnt make a difference. Neither during normal launch, nor with the pldx movie tool launch.
EDIT: I came across this thread: http://www.gotfrag.com/tf2/forums/thread/421262/
Can it really be that its WIN7 screwing it over? i mean, the problem only occurs for POVs and not STV-demos

So you are recording in slow-mo? I’d just say record in like 120fps and then reduce the speed in vegas/adobe. I have no idea how to fix your problem tho.
Its always happened to me when viewing a POV demo in slow-mo, not so sure about STV demos though. Like Rake said I think most people record with a high fps and then slow it down using editing software.
I.e record the demo with 200fps, slow it down by half the speed and you still have 100fps?
I too, have had no problems with STV demos, and some POV demos work flawlessly, but other POV demos absolutely refuse to playback smoothly (when recording at high fps).
I think it’s a packetloss issue which is recorded by the POV demo, whereas STV demos do not have any packetloss (or do they?).
