I like to make little movies of our ‘Div 6 shitnerd’ team, as I enjoy it and my clan mates like being immortalised on youtube, however, I have only been using the free version of FRAPS and windows movie maker to create these ‘disaster-pieces’.
I can’t really afford sony vegas or any fancy editing software so I was wondering if anyone knows of, or uses, any freeware that can produce decent looking vids?
Everyone elses videos have nice colour correction and flashy effects and all sorts of jiggery pokery that windows movie maker simply cant produce, so any ideas would be appreciated.

Don’t put yourself down mate, Doesn’t matter if its ryb or cantmyn’s demo, its still an airpipe. ;)
Also, I have a very good piece of editing software thats free that you may want to look at. Its called utorrent. :)

I highly doubt anybody on these forum actually bought Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects ;)

Now I feel I should point out that I know very little about this new world of ‘computing’ and tinterwebs and things, but I suppose this utorrent thingy lets me get sony vegas for…..free, right?

I’ve never torrented anything in my life, (yes I’m one of those!), I suppose it’s pretty self explanatory and easy to do right? Watch this space…. :)

Yeah I did and I had a quick look at it and nearly passed out because it was hurting my brain, so I never really had a good go, then it was christmas and I was away from home and then it expired, so I failed there. I’ll need about 6 months to work out wtf I’m doing I would think. I have no experience with editing except what you see in my youtube channel, from the very first, very fail video, to the latest only mainly fail video.
My editing journey shall continue with the smallest of baby steps…

Easy enough to install and has nice binds for recording
Ok, d’l ing now. I’ll have a look. I feel I should mention that I’ve only had a PC for about 2 and a half years so I is uber n00b when it comes to anything technical….
