You might want to sort out the rendering as it doesn’t fill the youtube borders, you don’t need to render it in full quality for youtube iirc.

+ the colour correction you used will make it too dark for other areas of the map, you can see the exit in the top right is very dark already.

If you add levels, gradients and chroma keyer(?) you can get more vivid colours and keep the brightness.

yeah, I put all the settings as high as they can go
with the capturing method I used, I can maintain a constant fps rate, with whatever settings I like. If I wanted to catch at 200 fps, i could do and I would suffer no lag

i would of captured at a higher fps, but it was merely an editing test, so i didn’t for this clip

I was in that video and all I can say is, its not a great clip nor a true reflection.

– Editing was OK, could have been improved.
– Could try thirdperson, perhaps?
– Clip was TERRIBLE.
But its just a clip, Blorg’s FIRST clip infact. All he wanted to do was test and show off some colour correction. So GL in future.

As regards to the flame war going on, Jh spoke the truth as far as it really isnt a good clip so Klevah stop over-reacting, stfu, and stop being so immature.

well, i would’ve liked the coloring to be have more contrast, or whatever you call it – my favourite example is the j’agarna vid, favourite colors. but that’s just my opinion. clip was just a clip, so who cares, he didn’t go Trips-style on it.

the only reason i flame is because people can be so fucking retarded at times. yeah lets take a completely pointless and shitty clip, throw some random colors on it and then up it to youtube for everyone to see. thats really cool. yeah i do think people will wanna say nice things about it.

i wasnt a good player when i made reptile’s vid. i wasnt a good player when i made auto-aim so i had sire cover for me. i wasnt a good player when i made meatshot 2. but i wanted people to be entertained, so i got the frags from people i knew and voila: 3 very popular movies.

my chatlog with pingu is about 1meg. a while back he was constantly pming me on irc, asking for advice and tips, and i was happy to oblige because he sincerely wanted to make cool vids. you ALL have that option. and as long as you can speak english and actually have good frags to show me, ill help you np. im not a douche, i just have standards.

as blorg said this was just a test clip for colours, which he wanted the opinion on, it wasnt a clip to show some “pr0 skillz”, or he would have asked for comments on it.

i’m mainly refering to the other thread “our new soldier” or whatever it was, where some top players decided to flame a div 6 solly.

not everyone is going to meet high standards, most will be reluctant to ask for clips from players as sometimes this place seems to be extremely hostile at times.
