Hey, Just thought I’d put this out there. Just to practice my editing, I’ve been trying for the last 3 days to produce a 30-40 second mini frag clip every day. Been able to pull it off so far and I’m going to see if I can keep it up until I go back to school next month, and even then, I’ll try to do 1 per week.

However, I’d love to see others try something similar. Not necessarily every day, but on some kind of regular basis. I think its been shown pretty well by Valve with their TF2 update announcements that little-and-often is the better way to go.
Also, would like to ask if anyone has any demos that would be any good. At the moment, I’m just going through all the .avi files I have from my PldX entry that never came to be but theres not many that are particularly suitable for what im doing at the moment.
So, if you have any clips of 4 or 5 man takedowns that are spread over about 30 seconds to a minute, then hit me up on IRC or steam and I’ll take a look. ;)

Great idea and execution so far.

In general though I’d say you use a wee bit too much slow motion, and the colours can be a bit much sometimes. The kill messages just look like white blobs in the top corner :P

First one was the best imo with the obvious syncing to the music.
I don’t think this was done in the next ones? I was only listening with half of my headphones on so I could be wrong. Either way I found the quality and frags enjoyable.

Ye, I’ve heard this from a few people. Its just the method i’m using to sync it with the music, I’m ending up unintentionally having the video in slow-mo, will try to work on that on tonights one. :)

I liked how you could see appe writing “____________” on the last clip with Jh :]

Ye, Tonight will likely be the last time I use frags from the PldX comp. That will be all the actually decent ones used up anyway. As I say, this was always to play around with new ideas, not trying to make the next big frag movie here. :)
Also, added download links. They are all H.264 720p and should play no problem in VLC and Quicktime.

I’ve just started looking at doing some edits today, get a demo bank; somewhere people can upload cool stuff and people can tamper with as they please.
