So I use the pldx tool, I recorde at everything high and with 90 frames. After that i do it with virtual dub, to uncompressed with framerate 90. I add it in adobe premier pro 7.0 , i change the colours a bit, than i render it with music to uncompressed with 30 frames. than with ffmpeg i compresse it to h264.
Is this the right way ?
Or should i first compress it with ffmpeg.. ?

Well as long you can render to losless in premier it dosent matter i think
Other than maybe export it straight to h.264 from premiere pro, thats pretty spot on. ;)
you can only see lagarith lossless code with premier pro, ffdshow isn’t in the list.. :(
need some help, i really wanne make good quality clips;
ye, im saying use virtualdub to export your raw footage as lagarith, then edit it in Premiere Pro and export an h.264 video from premiere. That will give you the best quality. ;)
Here is the best way to get best quality in MY experience:
1. Record your clips in TF2 with high framerate
2. Render the clips in VirtualDub as uncompressed video (still with the high framerate)
3. Edit the clips as you like in your video editor
4. Export your video as uncompressed .avi with a framerate of 60
5. Use MeGui to render as x264 .mp4 following this tutorial http://infprod.com/index.php?site=tutorials&action=show&tutorialsID=414

^ what he said
lagarith is shit
huffy ftw
Its almost EXACTLY the same codec. They’re both loseless so it dosen’t matter. :P
the only real difference is that the lagarith encoder is multicore and huffy isn’t.

You have to render the sound alone in vegas. Then in megui below where you import your video you will see an option to impoprt sound as well.
ok will try it :)
