PldX: coming soon
enjoy!!!
Really laggy, can’t watch it. :/
Don’t use fraps, use the ingame recorder, it takes time to take picture per picture, so no lag.
rubbish imo
Crappy editing, cool frags, not bad for the first movie.
Its great that you’re being proactive and going out of your way to do this, shows good qualities.
I feel you were let down in how you executed it sadly, the song was not to my taste and I felt the frags were every-second occurances which in reality didn’t show a great deal of finesse or skill.
Nevertheless take all feedback you gain on board and I’m sure you will improve in your movie-making skills greatly. In my opinion, you should try think from the viewers perspective about what they want to watch and be much more prudent at choosing the frags.
Good luck :)
Hey, not a bad first try, but really you need to learn some of the basics of frag videos. You should always be rendering from TF2 directly (I really recommend salmon’s movie config) and you’ll get much better quality. It doesn’t matter about your computer, the rendering is not meant to happen in real time.
Secondly, try to be a bit more creative with your edits. Play with timescaling, fades and disolves between shots, etc.
Finally, try and get a bit more synchronisation in your video and music. Get shots to land on the start of bars, for example, and it will all feel a lot tighter
oh come on fraps…
try using a movie config next time, get rid of the fps config
frags were pretty mediocre,
but nice first movie
Yes Kala “rubbish imo” provides a lot of issues for him to improve upon well done :) Can only agree with whats been said already, syncing with nice music can make a movie even if it doesnt have great editing. Look forward to seeing if you have taken all comments onboard in your next movie.
