Just because you were not breastfeed as a child doesn’t mean you need to seek attention through these dumb posts.

What a warm reception ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This particular post isn’t even dumb. Go to that bants post to call me retarded fellas. I made one here because I realized the previous one was in the wrong subforum.

Also @zero if you don’t care about something this broken in a mechanics focused game, you’re wrong and not right and you’re wrong.

Smh @ these replies. So he made a duplicate thread, who gives a fuck?

“no one cares”

If you have any love for the game then you will wish to seek out improvement in all aspects of the game, not just the bits that you are nitpicky about. Acknowledge that there are issues with the class that are just as valid as any other complaint.

We as a competitive community should all be in favor of correcting these discrepancies. It’s all part of the process of making the game more competitively viable and to ensure it stays up to modern standards. Thank you Jedi for the effort to make the video.

On another note: did Valve ever fix the splash damage bugs on stairs and subtle uneven surfaces?

It’s just how the physics engine handles explosions. Solution is map creators using blockbullet instead of playerclip as a clipping texture in places such as stairs.

Not pro on this field, was just reading around. Source here: http://tf2maps.net/threads/tip-splash-damage-bug-what-it-is-how-to-avoid-it.20749/

Except this problem is still seen in official maps like badlands and gullywash, among others, so it’s not really a case of “blame the mapper”. The explosions themselves could also handle some updating.

It is of my opinion that if you create a game with certain mechanics and your own official maps cause said mechanics to bug out, even after having years of solving it by perfecting the maps, means that the path of correcting subtleties through fine nitpicky mapping is not the right way to go.

An engine update is loooooong overdue and while they’re at it they can fix the bug where a non-armed sticky can block the explosive radius of armed stickies.
