Pldx- Troubling playing downloaded files :S

I have downloaded around 10-20 movies off from pldx just to watch them later. When the time finally came, the files just didn’t play. VlC, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, iTunes, GOM player. Nothing worked.
I find fragmovies to be really awesome when heavely torrenting stuff, so I have something to do in the between time, so this was sad :(
If anyone know a codec, or a media player that is able to play some of the files downloaded from pldx, let me know ..
The tsw.ysw and FB2 movie is two of the newest movies that didn’t work. Some other movies worked though.
I can’t play them either. I don’t have that many media players installed – but it won’t work with VLC, winamp or quicktime.
Try going to #pldx or http://www.pldx.com/forums/
Try querying an op or posting a little message saying your problem with things like error messages etc.

Yup, you are missing out rulfen. :D
Strange though, never had any problem with downloading from pldx.
I have tried with the latest version of vlc and mpc with Haali Media Splitter and the latest version of ffdshow, no playback problem for me.
If you want to know what’s missing to play those files you can give a try to GSpot, it tells you what codec is missing when trying to open a file.

you need to binary edit file and delete w w w . p l d x . c o m text. this editing can be done in ultraedit or emeditor.

It seems to only do this with the london mirror (at least for tsw.ysw_reboRn.mp4).
Thanks for pointing this out, think I found the solution. If you had this problem could you please retry downloading it and see if the problem persists.
