How did Attitude not win!?

While the effects were impressive, they were quite unnecessary most of the time and took away from the frags, or thats at least my opinion. Paradise Circus was an obvious winner, congratulations gr1d and other winners as well.

Indeed, none of the effects in westracer’s entry were necessary, but neither are any effects in any frag movie ever. I’ve found the winners of the past few movie competitions pretty confusing. Are judges looking for the best editing or which movie showcases frags in the cleanest manner? If grid’s entry was ranked number one and the same judging criteria is being used for all entries it makes no sense that AMS’ entry would be anywhere near the top three imo.

ps. If anyone is curious my top three would’ve been
1. Attitude by westracer
2. Paradise Circus by grid
3. Heart by Almie

I think What!? had the potential to be the best entry but I don’t think the editing of the actual frags lived up to the rest of the movie or the standard of the other entries.
