Here is the link me playing the sniper -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lyk5AQNq8s&list=PLMxdFtabNHtCVQ0Y1bftoO5L3Gnoey8-D
The movie is just made from Week 5 official game Tummy Rubbers vs Wu-Tang Highlander, its just the highlights of the game for me, totaled roughly 35 mins, compressed into 4 smtng. It was hard to make a sniper pov only movie cause usually snipers are standing still + hard to pick a song for it for the same reason :D but turned out good for the first try i guess :D what u think? every bit of critique is welcomed :)
(about the demo player bot left, didnt know it would show up when rendered :D cause it was my first time doing it srry about that )
Made it with Windows Movie Maker, 1st ever editing job ever
1:18 Notice the Spy reveal sound matching with the gun sound from the song :D
totally unintended :D
3:12 Notice the headshot matching with the tune
totally unintended no 2 :D
i think thats what people call beginners luck :D:D
Thank you for watching :) cheers
watched for 40 seconds
weird brightness, should probably cut the time between frags or speed it up, 1 to 1 picks aren’t exactly special unless it’s some really pro airshot headshot, a headshot on a stationary target standing on the cart is not quite special
neither is dubstep :(
also close the demoui (is that what you call it)

thx for the input dunno whats up with the brightness did u check the 720 or lower? i just frapsed it from prec file then chucked it into the movie maker. didnt fiddle with anything else.
about the kills,i just felt like trying to make a short movie this is just from a single match, just the highlights, didnt intended it to be a frag clip or anything :D dont have enough material to make one atm :) but i agree with your points.
about the music, i think its really hard to pick one for snipers. so atleast tried to pick an energetic one
(thx about the demoui)
thank you for watching :)

you can change the brightness ingame, i dont think there was something wrong when you rendered the video
also to be honest if it was the highlights i’d say it would be a ~1 minute movie, not four and a half
if you’re looking for music for sniper clips just check out other peoples’ sniper fragmovies and pick a song out of the same genre
‘also to be honest if it was the highlights i’d say it would be a ~1 minute movie, not four and a half’
first time making it bro :D dunno what is suppose to be just tried to make it as long as the song :D dont know how to edit the songs in movie maker yet :P will make it shorter next time
‘if you’re looking for music for sniper clips just check out other peoples’ sniper fragmovies and pick a song out of the same genre’
nice idea :)

I’d urge you to make shorter clips in the beginning. Not as much work and you get more feedback.
Also look up tutorials on how to make TF2-clips. There’s several around.

Syncing action in a movie with the music can add a whole new dimension for the viewer. You had an uptempo song and quite a number of points in your movie that could’ve been synchronised with it, but you didn’t make use of that at all. The music was only there because “other frag movies have music too”, it seems, which is a shame.
The music itself was terrible too but I guess that’s just a matter of taste :)

about the music :D ye
Try not to use the same music as other popular clips. This one was used on Quad’s vid..?
highlights videos aren’t like 5 minutes long, just a heads up.
