What the fuck?!
.
the idea of “Top 10 plays of the week” is good but it needs a lot more work:
– frags are just boring (long clips of “killing spree” on low health guys)
– editing is just average (slow motion, wow)
– ‘interludes’ are not even customised for TF2
Editing is perfect for what it is (it’s not a frag movie), all it needs is better content :)
n1 Vale!
Good editing! And gj Vale guys for being the first europe guys to post your demos i believe..
yeh it needs more round winning awesome caps like this one
appe was the first :P
editing is fine
there’s a problem with the content because : the most important moments in a game which require a lot of skill wouldn’t look impressive in a movie most of the times.
so i think the maker puts in some frag sprees that look impressive but don’t require a lot of skill (like that demo killing 4 players from behind that are cropped together or that soldier killing spree on last of badlands)
some players like to watch impressive frags with massive gibs while others want displays of skill
and about my clip: the reason i sent in that clip was actually because of the medic kill i did with only 2hp but i can imagine no one noticing that and finding it boring :)
Really nice !
Can’t wait for the next :)
I noticed the medic kill Skinnie, and that was what was so amazing. No room for error and still pulling it off.
There’s no need for these clips to be edited as much as regular frag movies, or else it would be a very huge pile of work for each week. Nevertheless I agree on the point, that it’d be nice to see some TF2-arts/effects between the footage instead of the generic countdown.
the duo frags is a very nice idea
need more work on editing it clearly and smoothly though
but by looking at the huge improvement from last week, I can expect #3 to be awesome :>
Really really really nice again imo!
Listen to the others concerning the frags and it’s going to be even better ;-)
I don’t think it needs more editing thought, just a bit of viewmodel_fov 70!
