Resetting TF2 configuration

My configuration has messed up recording movies for me. When I try and record from a demo, the avi is just black with a weird 1 pixel height line of colour. I thought it was due to mqm2, but after trying it with 1 and -1 I still get the same problem, so assume there are other factors effecting it in my autoexec.
When I load TF2 with a different autoexec (just some things I want, but there is nothing in there which causes this problem) I still get the same problem, so could some of the settings from my old autoexec still be loading up?
So I’m just wondering how to set TF2 to completely default settings.
Delete your config.cfg (make a backup before, just in case), TF2 will then generate a new one. Worked for me
And then remove -autoconfig, or the game will reset your options every time you launch it.
i used to get other people’s aotoreload scripts, duckjump script and other stuff like that from watching their demos :D Really funny. (i dont use those scripts normally script)

I used to get that from using mat_queue_mode 2 .. maybe thats in your cfg ?
Yeah sorry, I meant that when I said mqm, I just didn’t type it out in full :) I tried just disabling it but it didn’t work, so I guess there are other things which cause a black screen as well. So disabling the whole autoexec/renewing my config should work.
