I’m making my first montage and I need some font suggestions for my into, to put the names of the players. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent font or at least a link to somewhere I can find some?
thanks to all who help

Choose a font that is used in a HUD already so the ‘you stole it from ma HUD’ circlejerk does not end.
Just pick a font that suits the style and mood of your video
Tungsten Semibold
Vitesse Bold
Forza Bold

Swiss 911 Ultra Compressed
Handwrite it and scan it in.
You can add all of your own personal touches, that would actually look pretty good.

I’d personally would like to see http://fontfabric.com/nexa-fontNexa[/url] being put to good use, check out this collection as well.

Wow, I love that Nexa set.
However I would say you’re asking the wrong question. You need to think “what feel do I want this movie to have?”. I know it sounds artsy, but it really is like that. You want to decide on a theme, and follow through the design process with everything being directed towards achieving that feel you have in your head. This will often mean deciding not to use fonts, effects or ideas that otherwise really cool, just because they don’t help achieve that theme (or even detract from it). This is one of the reasons that Broder was such a successful movie, because it was created by someone who actually understood this concept.
Looking for fonts and effects to put in a movie is putting the cart before the horse.
