Apparently you can do time slicing in TF2, I’ve never seen anyone do it before

These days it can be done with SFM.

Twitching medibeam looks awkward. There is no way to keep it still?

You could edit the medic beam particle and stop it from animating perhaps. I’ll have a look at it now, will keep you updated.
Its easy to do with FRAPS and a paused demo
alright, I can’t figure out how to do the Medibeam particle way.
However I think, if memory isn’t playing tricks on me, that it just depends on what moment of time you are capturing. and that like 90% of other frames don’t have the medibeam doing that.
Did you actually try for yourself or are you just asking from viewing the final render?
I will try it out myself right now.
*EDIT*:
Yes I was right. Some frames it animates, some it dosen’t. Just hit resume and pause real quick to move up like 1-5 frames, you will still be at the moment you wanted~ and the medic beam won’t animate.

I’ve been playing around with SFM, but I don’t overextend. Don’t bother with it, if you don’t mind it yourself.
Alright well like I said in the edit, the twitching medic beam is only on some frames, on other frames the medic beam is still.
I don’t know what causes it to be like this, what makes a certain frame have a twitching medic beam and the other have a still beam, but in any case, you should be able to get the footage you need.
