Hey last night I got some errors while launching vegas. The error was “The program can’t start because CKLERN.DLL is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix your problem” I restarted my computer which usually solves vegas errors, it still didn’t launch. I re-installed and now the process doesn’t even open. I cleaned out the registry, deleted all vegas folders and previous versions and re-installed, still not working, downloaded different cracked versions and nothing works. I googled it and nothing came up.
tl;dr I have a movie 50% edited and I don’t want to have to re-edit
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=CLKERN.DLL
put in in WINDOWS and System32 and in the Vegas folder and now that I think of it just put it EVERYWHERE even on your grandmas 98′
yeah it doesn’t work putting it in all those folders and when I run cmd and type “regsvr32 clkern.dll” it comes back with this error “The module “clkern.dll” may not [be, hurhur grammar mistake windows :-)] compatible with the version of Windows you’re running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe.” I’m assuming that means I need a 64-bit clkern.dll for my 64-bit computer, but the place I downloaded it from gave specific instructions to follow for 64-bit pc’s to follow, so I’m at another dead end
