Enjoy!

faster pace :D
Colors way too dark
You dont need to do smooths for every frag you get
Anyway, try editing more you’ll get better =)

actually people tend to overedit everything.
try not to edit too much, unless its a very stylized movie. you can do a lot with just cuts alone. if you did a good job there, you dont need fancy smooths and contrasts. i’d actually say, use smooths for transitions only.
again, just my opinion ;)
this is horrible

I think editors in general have the wrong ideas about smooths. They should really be used for three main reasons: to help alert the viewer of surroundings and environment (such as in Fanom), to add a sense of flow to the movie (like Pop Culture by Cla) or as transitions (I can’t think of any movies that do this really well without overdoing it).
It seems right now that a lot of editors throw smooths into their videos just for the sake of having smooths. A smooth that doesn’t add anything to the video (particularly those empty smooths around a map) may just as well be a black screen in between two clips, they’re essentially the same thing.
My point is smooths aren’t necessary in order to make a good video. I’ve never really used smooths in my past videos and I’d say I’ve made a couple successful ones. It’s better to focus on other aspects of a video when you’re starting out; then when you’re comfortable with all that add smooths and other elements.
This wasn’t directed just at you, it’s something way too many people do, but I’d suggest dropping all the pointless smooths in your videos for now.
I say no to all of the colours, we have all these tools yet simplicity is overlooked so many times.
Overall, I’ve seen worse, there are plenty of good points and practice makes perfect! Don’t let any criticism dishearten you, you will improve the more you do :)
Now for feedback:
In general, it’s a little too dark throughout, which IMO makes it difficult and annoying to follow what’s going on. In a frag video, people generally want to be able to see. There are some colour correction options that work well, but IMO darkening everything isn’t one of them.
Also, a lot of the time is wasted and could be cut – unless you’re making it arty or need something to fill time for a sync with music, don’t pad it out with unnecessary extras (more on that in the time-referenced comments).
And finally, the volume levels need a little adjusting, the game volume is there but is so quiet it might as well not be – either keep it in but at a level where you can hear it, or mute it altogether.
0:02-0:07 – remember to lose the crosshair in your smooths :) Also you might want to rethink the path of the smooth so that it takes in the action a little more – you want to show people where the enemies are so that when you go out and kill them all they are impressed :P
0:11 – stop this clip here, just after the shot, and go right into the smooth if you want to (although personally I don’t think a smooth is necessary here). The stuff from 0:11 to 0:14 doesn’t add anything and detracts from the nice snap headshot, which is what you want people thinking about.
0:17 – I like this quick zoom out during the smooth, nice :)
0:25 – 0:36 – Either cut, or at the very least fastforward, this time between the sniper HS and the soldier HS. Nothing happens, and people will get bored. Also, for some reason the kill notifications have disappeared. Remember to keep them on because it’s not immediately clear that this HS kills the soldier since he falls out of sight. And cut the clip after you dodge the rocket, the rezoom again is wasted time.
0:42 – 0:47 – for most of this smooth, the camera is staring at a blank wall. Cut it from the start to just a liiiittle bit of pan and the soldier coming into view, it doesn’t need to start so far ahead of the kill.
0:47 – 0:57 – this is good, but needs killfeed, and the timing of the speed-up is confusing. If anything, it should slow down a bit as the scout gets really close, so people can follow what’s happening. Once the scout is dead, you can speed up the rest, maybe blur it a little too, right up to the next scout HS.
1:08 – nice shot! :) This one is the highlight of the clip, and needs milking. I would slow it riiiight down just as you kill the scout, and then a slow-mo reload. And remember, cut it before you die! Frag videos are to make people seem superhuman, not normal players, so don’t show your death unless 1) it’s funny, 2) you were deliberately suicide bombing in and made some glorious kills just as/after you died, or 3) the kill you want to show is so close to your own death that there’s no way to avoid it.
Hope that helped, I’m no master moviemaker myself but I have watched plenty of frag videos, both excellent and terrible, and hopefully this feedback will help you in some way towards making the former :)
