If you type
startmovie moviename h264 tga wav
it records tga and wav files like normal, i don’t know if anything else changes but give me a heads up if there’s something different.

This doesnt give as good quality as recording in tgas. :|
As i said, it’s temporary.
Until Valve fixes it, you’re sortof stuck with this.
It recorded TGAs for me last night with this command using the lawena recording tool and this edited config http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6252055/TF2/recbindings.cfg

Thx! This worked fine!
One question:is the tga quality getting better through that config?
if it does. where do i have to copy/paste that stuff in?

I don’t actually know, i think it gets worse though since it’s in h264, not lossless.
