lawena recording tool

it doesn’t even as much as start, it just says it’s starting, and instead of going to main menu it crashes and says it has done working.
There’s been some work done on Lawena in the last two weeks (ver 3.1.1).
Haven’t tried it yet but it also comes with a proper third person view tool.

not really. the new version released was done by a completely different person. He just got permission from the original lawena author to post his version on the lawena download site
Anyone else had this problem where when trying to load a demo, in this case snakewater one, lawena says “missing map snake….”?
Any clue how to make it work, idk if it’s been already on this thread on previously pages, too lazy to look

I got a problem with lawena, when I launch a demo I got an error message:
“Model models/Gibs/wood_gib01e.mdl not found and models/error.mdl couldn’t be loaded”
and it quit TF2 :/

Hi, that error is caused by lawena missing some default cfg files.
To fix it please extract these files to lawena folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lfyio7gxaf1gml3/VmgfVWlY-m/default_cfgs.zip
Or you can get the newest version which has it fixed: http://code.google.com/p/lawenarecordingtool/downloads/detail?name=lawena-recording-tool.v4.zip

how can i add skins on lawena?
I’m working on a new version to support all kinds of custom stuff (materials/models/skins/etc), you can check out the progress so far by downloading this launcher: http://code.google.com/p/lawenarecordingtool/downloads/detail?name=lawena-recording-tool.v4.zip
You should then put your skins in your tf/custom folder, or lawena/custom folder.

Crashing every time on skipping to a tick, I have tried all mat_queue_mode values, all crash.

Hey I have this same problem but I’ve found a solution :
If my action is at 12 000 , I look at the demo until the tick is 12 001 + and then I go to my tick and there is no crash like that .

Disable multi-core rendering, it works most of the times
