We’ve been waiting for this so long and it finally happened.
For quite some time already, a popular moviemaking website movienations.com, started a new project of theirs – MN Pride: Movie Fight which is basically a series of mini-contests and duels.
So here’s how it works – anybody can register at their http://pride.movienations.comsite[/url] and duel any moviemaker that takes part in this project. To do that you can use one of these two ways:
1) You “Request a fight” where you also choose music that you and your opponent will use in your clips. And somebody accepts this fight request (somebody who liked the music, for example)
2) Someone makes a request and if you are happy with the music in it – you accept it.

These “battles” will be a good practise for you, they’ll help you learn how to create your videos in short time and in specific conditions. Or you can simply settle an argument “Who’s better?” in a civilized way.

Some rules:
1) Demos are being held out at 00:01 on Monday
2) Your movie must be done and submitted in a short period of five days. Start on Monday and submit you movie before 23:59 on Friday.
Participant which didn’t submit his work on time, loses this match and gets a consolidation prize in the form of a ban for 1 month in this project.
3) If the movie does not meet the conditions of reception, participant is issued a defeat.
4) Duration of your video should be longer than 1 minute and less than 2 minutes
5) You can choose whatever video settings that you want (file format/codec etc)
6) You must place the MN Pride logo in the begining of your video. Changing the logo or adding any elements to it is forbiden. And pride.movienations.com must be linked in the end of your video.

Untill now duels were only held on Counter-Strike and Quake Live movies.

May holidays bring good news with them – the first week of may (from may 2nd till may 8th) is a so-called “all stars” week where only the top moviemakers will participate. But what’s really important is that begining from may 2nd allong with some new games in the list TF2 fight becomes available.
List of moviemakers participating will be kept in a secret and will be revealed along with the results.
