I hope there is an (easier) way to use skins and install configs (in a seperate .cfg file)… :p
I’m still on 0.55 but it starts crashing with some demos.

Why do u use the version when it crash with some demos? :p

if u want this disable crosshair in EDIT in the pldx tool settings menu (not ingame), then when ingame and watching the demo, pause it and put in console cl_crosshair_scale 0, then lock the crosshair using F2 to scroll down and F3 to change ‘unlocked’ to ‘locked’

i was actually changing the settings in EDIT but every time when the game is launched with option different than “default crosshair”, the crosshair loads up with black solid square. it wouldn’t be any problem if i didn’t have any sniper clips…

anyway strange thing is, that the whole problem occured after some update (don’t really know which one)

Because then I can use some extra configs (maxquality config, spectator stuff..) and skins / signs.
If it crashes I don’t use the recorder at all… (Only that’s shitty because I have to switch configs every time :p )

Then keep a 2nd (nonsteam?) install of tf2 elsewhere, dedicated to recording :)

Sc

steam demos isnt working on nonsteam?

Thing is, you need to update that one every time manually (and try to find a download for it)… And I don’t have 2 steamaccounts with tf2 no :p

Once you know where to find the updates, that’s only a matter of a few minutes, though :)

Along with all the nonsteam work I do for people with old demos, I always keep an up-to-date copy for myself to record stuff. Works great :)

:D

p.s. I was talking about seeing the explosions through the walls and almost every effect featuring some light bending shit which just blurs the entire screen.

You’re not trying hard enough flushy :(
