Can't render in Sony vegas :x

Ok, so I have this movie completely edited. 5:39 in length. My problem comes with rendering. When I render I get an error “system is low on memory. you could bla bla bla reduce bla bla close applications” The fact is that’s bullshit because vegas when rendering is using 0.6-0.9 of 1gb of ram and I have 4gb’s installed. It’s uses between 32% and 63% of my CPU. Vegas is know to be optimized rather badly for memory usage. So I went into options>preferences>video tab and the dynamic preview ram was set to 350 as default (max 1024) vegas is a 32-bit program so it can’t really use more than that. so I tried it at 0 and I tried it maxed out I tried it at 950 (because that’s a little over what it uses in the task maanger) and the rendering threads was set to 4. I tried this at 2 and at 4 and at 1. I counted this. I’ve tried to render this 43 times. I’ve tried .avi, .mp4, .wmv, .mov none of them work. I downloaded the lagarith and huffyuv codecs and installed them but they don’t show up in the dropbox for codecs in sony vegas. I can get it to work by rendering it out in 5 parts then importing them into a new file and render them (as .wmv) but the quality is pretty bad. I will not settle for anything less than nearly perfect. I’ve google this for hours literally. I re-booted my pc and the program to clear the ram. Please help! :(
I had the same problem, what fixed it for me;
save project, reboot pc, turn off everything you don’t need (steam, xfire, dropbox, other random programs), re-open project and render
fixed it for me after I had that pop-up show up about 4 times (at around the 80% mark of a 10 min video, so pretty much wasted 3h on nothing, fml)

I just said what fixed it for me, if that didn’t work google it
sorry I couldn’t be of any help
I’ve literally googled it for hours, there seem to be many solutions – none of which work for me.
I know shit about computers etc, but what I do know is that cleaning your pc on the inside helps quite alot on performance (right?) so try that maybe
I really have no idea what else could cause this or how to fix it

Apparently it’s not a problem with my pc, it’s something wrong with the software.
Vegas is known for how badly it uses memory

Cmon you’re like the most technical computery thingy on etf2l. You must know something :(:(
Try reinstalling vegas.
if that doesn’t help,
Try installing vegas on a different computer, copy the project with every video file etc to that computer and render it there.
Can’t think of anything else atm
Yeah I had this problem as well, what I did was basically as above, shut down comp, reboot, then close everything you can and pray, took me 2-3 times of doing it before it took, so it might just be a question of try and try again.
Had the same problem myself.
I think the problem was the source videos that I used (I think they were fraps compresed clips) – I re-rendered all of the clips into huffyuv using Virtualdub, then imported them into vegas it worked fine.
