Looking for a video editor to make me a fragvid

As the title says. I want to have a new fragvid (Soldier) but don’t trust myself to make one since I’m far too much of a perfectionist to EVER be happy with my own work. As such however, I am looking for an experienced movie maker too, so link your previous work.

Find me on IRC in #etf2l as BuffaloBill (Don’t add me on steam).

Bump. Previous editor had to bow out due to rl. I’ve got a few demos for you already.

Find me as v|BuffaloBill in #etf2l

what is the length you`re looking for?

Depends on how fast I get suitable frags, but I’m looking at the 5-6 minute region

Have you considered actually getting enough proper frags first?

Considering there’s plenty of people willing to simply work along as it goes, I don’t see why I should wait until I do. :]

It’s best to do it as you go a long as updates can ruin stuff if you just wait until you have a big collection.

+1, you can fiddle around more when you have every clip

completely agree with this, wait until you have the frags

Yeah, I too agree its best to have footage first. I havn’t actually made any tf2 movies but I have however made various sport movies.

I would never start editing the video unless I have all footage as you sometimes need a certain length/certain type of clip to fill in a gap which is harder to do being given footage in bursts.

Just my opinion anyway.

i tend to record each clip as a video file (so a new update doesn’t break the demos) then once i’ve got enough videos make it

This is what I do for the exact same reason. No matter, I’m not in a hurry.
