Seriously, am I the only creature in the world that has problems with async audio / video when rendering with MeGUI? Wat teh fuck. Makes me sad. :[[[

Do you render the video/audio out of vegas separately? Try that by muting the tracks you don’t want rendered.

Edit: Also this clip was made using the steps I listed earlier, but with the 2-pass insane codec instead of hq: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3hoTEFp8nI

Cl_interp somewhere around 0 and don’t use hq explosions or whatever.

cl_interp won’t do anything in demos. besides, it’s limited to minimum 1/upd.

well, pldx says that you should only use insane if you have an i7 or something like that, since the encoding time will take years

Mh, nope, but I will give it a try. In which filetype / container should the audio stream be provided?

Just mute the video tracks and render out the audio tracks into whatever folder you want, and name them “clip_audio.mp3” or whatever, then unmute the video and mute the audio and render it under the name “clip.avi”. If you’re going to encode with megui (which I’d recommend) follow the pldx guide, which shows you how to encode after rendering them separately.

@tesco: I have an i7 processor but I understand a lot of people’s processors can’t handle insane which is why I put the hq codec in the steps.
