So I got the new version now of the PLDX tool, but whenever I put in whatever options and press the “Start Team Fortress 2” button a pop-up shows with a DING sound saying

Launcher Error

Failed to launcher DLL:
( this part is in swedish but I guess its something along: )
Unable to find the selected module

What should I do? x(

All right, should I just press the defrag and validate Team Fortress 2 in the recorder then?

Make sure you have the latest updates to the .NET framework installed (is it 2.0 or 3.5 pldx uses?).

Also, everything that pldx does for you, you can do without pldx too :)

try using pldx tool 4.5, works for me

Got the same problem. Yeah I did restart my pc like a thousand times, installed the new .NET framework, verified TF2 game files.. But still no luck. Guess I have to stick with the old tool for now :(

try launching tf2 through steam and then through the tool

This has been continually happening to me, only way to fix it is to delete Team Fortress 2 and then re run the game. The Team fortress folder is remade and pldx tool works again.

Just make sure you have a backup of your configs and demos etc.

I am currently running two team fortress 2 folders one for playing and one for movie making. You just have to rename the folders as and when. bit anoying but you dont get any messed up configs or pldx tool not loading.
