Just a quick post asking whether anyone could tell me how to remove the uber vignette (the colour gradient around the edge of the screen)? I feel it looks better without.

Plus it looks horrible with an fps config. Anyway i think the only way to remove it would be download a skin to do it.

get gcfscape and extract tf2 materials.gcf/tf2/materials/effects/invuln_overlay files, then edit them

i guess, you need to edit the .vmt’s
