Okay, I’m using AE for a few effects and intros etc. etc. etc. and I have a few questions on rendering and how to use the thing…

So, what I want to do is take a clip, add some effects and shit, then cut it where needed in Vegas…

I assume that I need to render it lossless at 120 fps (same as the other clips in vegas) then in vegas just cut it, render it uncompressed at 60 fps then compile it at 60fps in h264 etc.

1 problem being is that AE doesn’t allow me to set the rendering at 120fps, 99fps seems to be the max.

Is there another way I should be doing all of this? Imma guess yes.

i dont think you need 120 fps for you intro. you just need 60fps if you will render at 60 fps in vegas.

Just stretch it to twice the length, render at 60 fps, then import to Vegas and scale it by 0.5.

If you render it at 60fps it doesn’t cut out any fps, it slows it down automatically
Then you can just speed up the whole video in vegas to 200%

Yeah 99 fps is max :(

But you can still slow it down after that pretty much, not as much as 120 but whatever.. And why would you do 60 fps, 30 fps is enough? (and you can slow it down double).
