can someone explain to me how I use the cfg please? I amn’t arsed working it out :D where do I copy it into(thefolder) thanks!

err what i understood the copying bit in but if I copy this in won’t it overwrite my chris’s config for my graphs? and what does exec mean? execute? if so I don’t understand what it has to do with the starting up of tf2 won’t it be like this every time?

Well it’s your opinion but I didn’t spend much time thinking about it, it was a spur of the moment decision because I was bored :p Anyway you said you would like something original. Suggest something give me an idea something. What would you like to see in it?

hmm that was very interesting but a completely different style if you know what I mean that was upbeat and in your face and fast-paced where as mine is a completely different style so they don’t compare mine was slow-paced and epic(for lack of a better word) and dark. And anyway if it’s been done before it’s not original :p if I did that then I would be flamed for copying him. :< but anyway what I meant is an individual giving his thoughts and ideas in front of him but not in a video which means its been done before. Something they would like to see done but hasn't been done before. Suggestions? btw tesco I bought a mouse from tesco the shop and it broke :< xD

About 30 seconds of the 1:14 trailer I was staring at either a soldier frozen mid-jump or a black screen. The rest looks like you put about an hour into it, so I guess that’s fair.

Trailers for fragmovies…unless you’re pro, which you claim you are not, and the trailer is AMAZING, I’m not getting excited.

The usual course for a decent fragmovie is this:
– record footage over several months
– re-watch and purge bad footage
– collect more footage
– create a concept for your movie
– select music
– create smooths/stunts/whatever else you need
– create intro, outro, player-name-overlays
– start cutting
– edit
– polish
– release
– hope it’s good enough so you don’t get torn to shreds by people like myself (we have a union)

The usual course for a fragmovie with a trailer is as follows:
– Record for 2 days
– Edit hastily
– post trailer
– wait for 2 months
– never actually release the movie and hope people aren’t going to notice

That’s how it is from my experience on etf2l.org, at least.

Now for your trailer, like I already said, not enough content, too many black screens, low settings (which are unexcusable since you can record at 1 fps on a toaster on high settings due to the nature of the ingame recording tool), overused, overly dramatic music. Sorry.

Don’t get me wrong, I created about 5 pretty terrible PoV fragvids myself before I created a somewhat less-terrible fragmovie for my team, but this was…ya. Keep at it.
