Compress Videos from Adobe Premiere?

Hey, I’ve made a video in Premiere but when I export it, it ends up as a 1.3 GB filesize and it’s only around 7 minutes long. I’ve compressed it in VirtualDub with the XVid setting and that brings it down to around 200 or 300 MB, but most frag movies have the high quality video at that size so I’m a little confused.
Help?
I use x264 codec. Top quality and small size.
I tried downloading the x264 codec, but I had no idea how to use it. I got the exe and I was stuck. Any advice? I have no idea what I’m doing in this.
Hey, if you have a recent version of premiere, you have h264 already. Use the adobe media encoder, which is by the export function.
There are plenty of options there, but its quite intuitive. I recomend exporting smaller parts, in order to experiment the right quality pr filesize.
If you still need help, please state what kind of format (filetype, video dimensions) you want to use, and ill give you a brief suggestion.
