Any chance to get the "old" demos working again?!

You’re probably better off using a non-steam tf2 client.
I’m using the nosteam verson thing now, when i try to launch a demo, this is written in console:

why?
My guess is that you’re at the wrong version.
Open console and type version. The current version (since mac update) is 1.0.9.5. For demos from before that to work it would need to be 1.0.9.4.
