Some of you old skoolers may remember that around 365 days ago I posted what was then called cp_prolane and it was taken very well however some people decided to wait for the valve update to come. Well now that it has come and fastlane is still pretty much as fucked as it ever was, last night I decided that I might go back to the old drawing board with it and just when I was completing the necessary changes I was struck down by this predicament.

Basically, I decided to load the pointfile to check for any leaks within the map, the opened up a can of worms dare I tell you, however, the leaks are coming from the strangest things and after a while i realised that something was up. I kept on running the map, finding the leak and then deleting it (this was because 9 times out of 10 it was a static prop.) This got annoying and after deleting dare I say around 20 static props I thought ‘this is fucking ridiculous’ and I cant seem to source the problem. I think it could be a problem with the skybox but I’m not sure.

All I want to know, has anyone encountered the problem where the leaks keep saying they’re coming from static props (even though its just saying that because they are the closest thing to the leak.)????

The leak is coming from directly under the map and is escaping through the middle of the terrain which is random as fuck aswell.

Hellllppppp, this will be beneficial to you as the community as fastlane wouldn’t be fucked anymore and relatively enjoyable!! and playable!! and beautiful!! and….you get the point
