Hey guys, this is my entry into the TF2maps.net Competitive CTF contest!
A traditional CTF map set in the Alps (NOTICE: Setting is subject to change) This map is geared toward the competitive playstyle, and I need your help!
I need you guys to supply me with feedback to help improve the map’s quality and playability. Whenever you get a chance to play, just come on in and leave a suggestion or criticism, and it’ll help me improve the map!
Don’t worry about the map’s visuals, it’s still a very early alpha, and I’d like to get the gameplay down before I start working on making the map look pretty. At an early stage like this, where there is little detail, it’s easy to make major changes! I don’t want to have to make layout changes late in the map’s life, so help out in any way you can before it’s too late!

I like the Gravelpit cpB like house in http://dl.dropbox.com/u/132295/Images/bristen/ctf_unnamed_prea1_jan110000.jpg . Would be nice to also see something like that used as a mid for a 5cp map.

I have to say that a mirrored map (/\) is not good as this kind of map (//) i dont have a way to explain it.
all koth maps are mirrored and harvest is not.

It’s not a mirrored map, it’s a rotationally symmetrical map. The bases are rotated and copied, but the building in center is not. I did that on purpose, and if it becomes a problem, I have plans to remedy it.
