Would that affect soldier rockets too? There are already enough things that ruin splash damage in tf2, train tracks, stairs etc.

Yes my good friend that would be great and as a demoman myself i would agree totally :p however i think it would just be a taaaaaad too much if it wasn’t clipped, ppl already say its a “sticky made” map which i disagree since rc2 onwards so….
As for rockets the fact that its clipped will mean the splash will do damage and on most stairs yes wer splash will occur (on most) :p

Gutted about the last bug can’t believe i didn’t spot that before release :/ the others are very minor and will be sorted in next update thanks Stray.

the only thing that is really annoying, is the fps lag on the welcome screen, on pick-your-class-screen. Then it goes normal afterwards, I hope that will be fixed byte, really good map otherwise.

I think the signposts should be revised, more matter, with less art. There is no need to place a “CONTROL POINT” plate over every doorway especially when they are side by side and leading in different directions?!. More than 40% of the signposts are useless, i think cp_obscure has invented excessive signposting!!!

I realise that you can do this in Valve maps, but it has still always annoyed me. :P
Great work on this, Byte + co, Obscure is shaping up to be fantastic and it’s great that the community has played such a role in making the map what it is today.

For rc5, if you put a black brush inside the wall, (edit: inside the vents), it will block vis to that room, potentially improving FPS in that area (as from certain positions, that room will no longer be rendered when you look at the vents, and I can only assume it IS rendered at the moment, when you look at the vents).

the first thing i did after starting up rc4 was go upstairs and into that little alcove
edit: so my comment isnt totally worthless:
i’ve always thought it would be handy to give scouts quick, easy access to the upper ramp of cp1:

Oh yes! Bitching about things seems to work :)
But jumping from the spawn doors still isn’t really smooth: you hit the lamp on top of the (left) spawn door if you sticky jump from the left side of the door or the middle.
