i’m just speechless that anyone can have such a narrow-minded vision…
i don’t get it…
please do explain to me why it is impossible to create a map that looks and plays great but not on irc, i want everybody to see.
Just played it in a pcw today and really like it, apart from two things (one of which I can’t explain);
The right connector to mid is a bit shit for checking stickies, if there are any you’ll most likely lose a person by checking, since even if they survive the donation, the demo can just stand right around the corner out of sight, pop out after det’ing and fire a nade to finish the sticky-checker off.
Second isn’t aesthetically pleasing to me, it looks too…miserable, really fucked off and dull (no offense); where the rest of the map has a “warm” quality to it, point 2 does not.
Imo.
i think its difficult to make a great looking detailed map that got proper fps at the same time. i for one haven’t played any. either it looks okayish or it looks amazing but my fps drop significantly.
i rather play on a map that might not be top notch but fps stable than some 80 mb map that makes my pc cry

Totally, just saying second point IMO looks substantially worse than the rest of the map (which I think looks quite awesome tbh). Not really a problem.

played it last night against rats. was the first time on that map for like half of us in idk but i can tell you, it was easy as shit to pick up. very intuitive design, allows for some sniper powerplay and my gfx are dumbed down so i cant say anything about the looks. tarmo is just madddd.

Cheers fluffy for feedback, the connector is an issue i agree, but there is also another side you could go which not many seem to venture yet but gradually its getting there.
As for cp2 being dull, if you was me and was to add visuals what would you want on there to not make it dull? Bare in mind mate that the more detail you put the more fps hog its going to be and cp2 has a very long hypotenuse view (it’s even longer than cp3’s distance).
But a suggestion or two mate wouldn’t go a miss, i am open to some suggestions.

map looks great to me, details are perfect – not too many but just enough to keep it looking good
dont play around too much with the looks, no need!

Good design is about doing the most impact with the least amount of elements.
This applies to any design, including maps. So instead of first thinking of what to add, think first about what can you change or delete.
if you lose shitloads of fps because of detailing, you have done something seriously wrong ( read, you suck at optimizing). it might sound rude, but thats the truth. still saying, the map is uglier than my dead grannys arse, about the same level than hl1 engine map, if ignoring displacements and/or props..
sorry to see that it actually butthurts you if someone criticizes your map. seems that you cant handle it.
atleast im updating the map on gatherbot when you release new version so im doing my part of the job ;)
