Badwater pro_v9 help pl0x

So I play highlander often, and we had a badwater scrim lined up. It was pro v9, now when i join any other map it works fine. However when joining this particular map it freezes on “Retrieving server info” No matter how many times i retry it does not work. Please help, id rather not be out in officials/scrims
move map from downloads/maps to maps
see if you can load up local server with the map
delete map and download it again

iirc that version of badwater is bugged and you should not play it.

Delete the map from tf/downloads/maps, download it from here: http://fakkelbrigade.eu/maps/pl_badwater_pro_v9.bsp
stick it in /tf/maps
idk about the move to another folder method, but downloading it manually fixed it for me
